Share Your Strength

By December 5, 2017December 7th, 2021Donor-focused, General

Here, at Utah Foster Care, we’re taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the holiday season. Our hearts burst with joy every time a generous group of people walks through our doors with toys, blankets, or presents in tow for Utah children in foster care.

Will you help us ensure that no child is without by making a cash donation?

Make a one-time donation.

School kids come in, who have spent their savings on gifts for these children who are in need. Families arrive with new bikes, having used the money they would have spent buying gifts for each other.

As we draw closer to the end of December, the reality of foster care also comes sharply into focus at this otherwise happy time of year. We see and hear about infants, neglected children and teens, brothers and sisters, who are being removed from their biological homes because that home is NOT a happy or safe place to be.

This year, we’ve had an amazing response to our Giving Tree program, which fulfills the specific wishes of children in foster care. We know, however, there will be children who will be walking into new foster homes just days before Christmas and yes, even on Christmas Eve.

If your family, community group, or business still wants to feel that spirit of giving this holiday season, the best way to do that is through cash donations and gift cards. These gifts allow us the flexibility to provide the things children truly want and need—now, and throughout the new year.

Giving can be as simple as making an online donation or dropping off gift cards at our Murray office (5296 South Commerce Drive, #400) during normal business hours. You can also give when you shop on Amazon by designating Utah Foster Care on the Amazon Smiles program. Your recurring donation will make it possible for kids to have access to special programs and wishes every day of the year.

Thank you for sharing your heart—and your strength—this season… and always.
