Hearts United Adoption Conference

Adoption advocates from Utah and around the nation will gather at Salt Lake City’s Little America hotel on October 30th to attend education workshops and hear from those touched by adoption.

United for Adoption (UFA) Advisory Board Chair Steve Sunday is helping organize the conference. As a social worker for 35 years, Sunday says it’s a great opportunity for adoptive children, birth parents, foster/adoptive parents, and professionals to get more involved in the adoption community.

“The conference is a wonderful opportunity to meet others, while gaining valuable perspectives on the complicated world of adoption,” says Sunday.

Utah Foster Care (UFC) will lead one of the workshops in exploring and foster care adoption. The workshop will feature a panel of families and children adopted from foster care. UFC representatives will be on hand to answer questions you may have about fostering to adopt in Utah.
