In honor of the opening of their 50th hotel, Home2 Suites by Hilton held 50 Acts of Kindness events around the country. Utah Foster Care was extremely fortunate to be selected by the Home2 Suites in Layton as the recipient of their charitable event. Local community members were invited to attend and join in the festivities held at the hotel.
While guests enjoyed chalk art, face painting, and balloon animals, they were also able to partake of some delicious food donated by Layton restaurants Corbin’s Grill, Holy Smokes BBQ & Grill, and MacCools Pub. It was definitely a night of fun and laughter!
In addition to the celebration, Home2 Suites accepted donations of back packs, school supplies, and financial support for foster families and the children in their care. Due to the generosity of the community and Home2 Suites, Nancy DeJong (event organizer and the Layton Home2 Suites General Manager) was beyond thrilled to announce they received over $1,200 in donations! Yet another example of community pulling together to show their admiration of the work you do.
