In December 2024, students at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, demonstrated remarkable community spirit by raising over $150,000 for Utah Foster Care. Their fundraising efforts included class competitions, ping pong matches, and various odd jobs around Draper.
The students’ dedication attracted the attention of local car enthusiast and influencer, Supercar Ron, who pledged to match $100,000, bringing the total funds raised to $250,000.
The funds will support programs that provide children in the foster care system with safe, stable environments and the necessary tools to thrive. Gina Phillips, Director of Communications at Utah Foster Care, expressed gratitude for the students’ efforts, noting that the money will assist families in taking care of children in need.
