Uniting Together for More Foster Families and Brighter Futures for Kids in Care
Join Utah Foster Care at our FREE community event, Color the Town Purple, designed to raise awareness of the need for more foster families and support for local children in foster care. The event will take place on Monday, May 4th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cedar City Main Street Park (200 North Main St, Cedar City, Utah 84720).
This FREE, family-friendly event aims to bring together the local community to advocate for more foster families and brighter futures for children in foster care. Utah Foster Care and DCFS staff, along with current foster families, will speak on the critical need for more foster families in Duchesne and Uintah counties.
Attendees will enjoy various fun and engaging activities suitable for all ages, including bounce houses, face painting, and making pinwheels in support of foster care. The first 250 people will receive complimentary hot dogs and drinks.
This event is a significant opportunity for residents of Cedar City and the surrounding areas to gain a deeper understanding of foster families and the pressing needs within their local community.
