I was born in Arkansas and moved to Utah to attend college, where I eventually put down roots and built a life centered on family and community. I’m the proud mom of four amazing boys, ranging in age from 9 to 14, who keep life busy, loud, and full of adventure. When we find free time, you’ll usually find us outdoors-riding motorcycles in the desert, camping in the forest, or cheering each other on in whatever extracurricular activity is in season. Although our family has lived in Midway for the past six years, my husband was born and raised here. We love Wasatch and feel grateful to be part of such a supportive and close-knit community. Our family has been a foster family for about seven years, an experience that has deeply shaped who we are. We’ve been honored to get to know so many incredible children and families along the way, and foster care has truly become part of our family’s identity. For the past couple of years, I’ve also served as a mentor with Utah Foster Care. I find great joy in supporting foster families at a local level and sharing my experiences so others can learn and feel supported without having to walk every hardship alone. Being a mentor is a privilege, and I love the opportunity to get to know more about the families who are opening their homes to children in need.
