I’ve been a foster parent for 20 years now. I started with level 3 teens and since then have adopted two boys. I love still having relationships with my past placements and being a stable part of their lives. Seeing them succeed makes me extremely happy and proud. I’ve been mentoring for a few years now.
I love being a mentor because I feel like it’s a way to still be involved and help the families and children in foster care when I’m in between placements.I’ve met some amazing people andI really enjoy it.
