My name is Emilee Garcia and I love the mentoring program! I became a foster parent in 2019 and was so grateful for my mentor and the support of the foster care community! We were thrown into parenthood and the world of foster care all at the same time and our mentor was such a great support to us.

021 I became a mentor to others and love helping them along their journey. Each case and placement is different and unique but there are so many similarities that only us as foster parents understand and it’s so helpful feeling like you have someone in your corner who understands you through all the ups and downs of foster care. My family has been so blessed through foster care and I love helping other families see the many small miracles that come into their lives as they serve the community through foster care.
