May is National Foster Care Month

By April 27, 2022May 5th, 2022General

May is National Foster Care Month and we are excited to join in the national efforts to recognize all those whose lives are touched by foster care. So many are engaged in this important work and this is just one month in which we want to make sure their stories and experiences are front and center!

At Utah Foster Care, we specialize in preparing and supporting our foster parents as they care for children. But what can the average person do to learn more of the needs of Utah’s children who find themselves healing from traumatic events in foster homes? It begins with one simple step:

Make a point of learning something, anything about foster care. And this is the month to do it.

Utah Foster Care offers a number of events fostering community and connection. Join us!
