Volunteers like you contribute to our special programs, which directly support Utah’s children in foster care. Here's how you can help:
Kid’s/Teen’s Night Out
Spend time with kids while giving foster parents a much-needed break. Volunteers play games, help with crafts, watch movies, and create a fun, safe space for children to relax and connect.
Mindfulness for Moms
Utah Foster Care invites organizations to sponsor and provide volunteers for Mindfulness for Moms, a wellness event created to support and celebrate foster mothers. Held over lunch or dinner, the event provides foster moms with a relaxing opportunity to connect, enjoy a meal, and participate in mindfulness activities such as yoga, meditation, and guided self-care practices.
The volunteers you provide for childcare allow participants to fully engage and recharge. Sponsorship funds help cover meals, activities, and event expenses while demonstrating your organization’s commitment to supporting foster families in our community.
Collection Drive
Work with our volunteer coordinator to organize a drive at your church, school, company, or neighborhood to benefit children in foster care.
We request that you confirm which items will be collected prior to starting the drive as needs vary throughout the year.
Service Project
Participate in a project to help a foster family around their home. Whether it’s patching drywall, fixing a fence, or tackling a weekend project, your hands-on help can make a world of difference.
Event Support
Help out at one of our events such as the Utah Foster Care 5k, Color the Town Purple, or other local events. Most volunteer shifts run 2–4 hours and may include helping with setup, activities, or event support.
