Event Support

Our public events are an important part of our public awareness and fundraising efforts.

Duties: Help out at one of our yearly events such as the Chalk Art Festival, Fostering Hope Luncheon, or other regional events.

Length of Commitment: 3–4 hours, depending on event or activities leading up to event.

Office Assistance

The time you spend helping out in one of our offices is time our staff can use to further our critical mission.

Duties: Help with clerical, data entry, or organization projects. Most projects will take 2–4 hours.

Length of Commitment: Varies based on project.

Times & Days Needed: Weekdays during office hours. Limited weekend opportunities available.

Collection Drive Organizer

Donated items help relieve the financial stress of a foster placement and allow families to focus on the emotional needs of a child.

Duties: Work with a volunteer coordinator to organize a drive at your church, school, company, or neighborhood to benefit children in foster care.

Before you organize a drive…

Attention: We request that you confirm which items will be collected prior to starting the drive. Needs for donated goods vary depending on the time of year—and our storage space is extremely limited.

Host a Private Meet-and-greet

Our “Journey with Utah Foster Care” program educates community members about our critical mission through short, small group presentations.

Duties: Host 10–15 family, friends, or coworkers at a one-hour event designed to raise awareness of Utah Foster Care.

Length of Commitment: Several hours inviting and confirming guests, plus the one-hour event.
