From the rolling mountains of the Uintah Basin to Castle Country, all the way south to Mexican Hat, this is the most expansive and rural region in the state.
Utah Foster Care (UFC) serves these small communities because there are children in foster care who need licensed families to offer stability and safety. Our goal is to find enough foster families so these children can stay in their own home towns. When there aren’t enough foster families in rural areas, children are placed elsewhere — away from familiar surroundings.
Our staff members live and work in the communities they serve in Vernal, Roosevelt, Price, and Moab. Our trainer logs thousands of miles to offer new foster parent training and ongoing classes for the licensed foster families we value so much.
